Guess the old advice of bluff less and bet for value with weaker hands than in the bigger buy-in events would apply here.
Passive play is not usually advised in any form of poker - however in the early stages of a freeroll where raises will be called in so many places, it can be worth limping behind with hands such as suited connectors, small pairs and suited aces which have the ability to turn into monsters.
Play very aggressively on the bubble too... many opponents in these kind of things will tighten up considerably trying to make the money - if for every time you bust on the bubble you double your stack another time (and have a shot at the bigger payouts) then your profits over time will improve.
Looking forward to seeing some more advice on this one... if we can not help a guy win at the 10c level then we should not call ourselves a strategy forum!!
