I haven't seen it yet but it looks pretty funny.
If it's not one of those blockbuster productions I think they open it in a few select cities first and if it does well enough they'll go with all the other cities. If it bombs, well, they save the theatre seats for a movie that will actually sell tickets.
I never even saw this movie promoted anywhere.
