Or even call and hope to "check it down."
I have no problem putting a short stack in in this position, it is the medium and large stacks that I will get out of the way for. This also depends on how many chips I have. If I have a ton more than anyone at the table I am more inclined to try and bust someone than to worry about survival.
At some point somebody has to pull the trigger to burst that bubble.
