Default Re: Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama - Who should be the Democratic Presidential Nomin

<-- hates politics

I have a differing view than most people (at least the people around me). I don't see the president as such an important decision maker as I see the president now days as a spokesperson. I basically look at the president and see more of a sock puppet with a million peoples hands going up his/her rear end. Since this is the case I see no reason to put some young "hot shot" type like Obama in the white house. Sure he is a good canidate but I think all a president does anymore is sit in the hot seat. Hillary has been there and has managed to thrive in an extremley harsh environment so I think that makes her a better canidate. I doubt this makes sense but I think someone like Hillary can function when the $#!t hits the fan so I am leaning heavily in her direction.

I really don't care what the presidents stance is. This is a democracy and the president can never have all the power so who cares. I would rather have someone who can stay composed in a time of crisis is more important in this increasingly volotile world.
