It all depends on stacks and pot odds. If the guy calling with T8 has you outstacked 10:1 and is in the BB getting about 2:1 pot odds with no one else to act, he is absolutely correct to call in that spot. In a tournament, the pot odds and stack sizes can make what looks like a bonehead play the correct decision.
