Reminded by a thread in another forum of my worst (most expensive) poker disconnect incident...

I was travelling the world in 2006 and found myself in an internet cafe in Vientienne - capital of the Peoples Republic of Laos (a great and very chilled country BTW!).

Had started a set of 6* $20+2 SNGs on Party Poker in an internet cafe and *poof* down goes the connection. Asked the staff what was the problem and they smiled as they told me this was a common central issue in Laos and it should be back up and running by tomorrow!

Well, not much hope of the bubble still being alive there then... would have been angry but the Lao people are so laid back it is really difficult to get irate there.

So - will open the question... what is your most expensive / worst / or even funniest poker disconnect story??
